Case Study Part 4: Double page spread 2

NME 2015

The double page spread of NME magazine consists of a lot of smaller writing on both sides of the page. from page 6-11 it says agenda on all them on both sides of the double page spread. This gives the information to the audience that the pages will be about agenda. The title agenda is placed on the left hand corner on the left page of the double spread. On the right hand side of the double page, agenda is written on the right top hand corner.

The headline have been made bold and big. The designer of the magazine has done this to make the headlines stand out so that the audience can get an idea of what the smaller text will be about before they start reading it. Knowing what the writer of the magazine intends to talk about will create a clearer message to the audience.

The pictures on the double page spread do not overlap both the pages. The pictures are placed in a systematic order. This is to keep the magazine looking professional. The main pictures of the double page spread are mid shots placed on the top of top of both the pages. The other pictures are much smaller placed in systematic and organised order.

The headlines, texts and pictures are all used together to create effect. They work together in a way which they anchor each other.
