Evaluation Question 3: Which magazine institution would distribute the magazine?

The "RESPECT" magazine is targeted at young people who are interested in grime music. This genre of music would need a strong publishing company, I would say that Bauer would be a great publishing company to lead the "RESPECT" magazine going forward. Bauer is a well know and successful magazine publishing institution which distributes not only music magazines but also other genres of magazines. Bauer can use its self as a publishing base. The other magazines allow Bauer to
promote its self using each other.

Other publishing institutions such as Spin media may distribute the magazine due to the fact that they already publish one of the largest on going rap magazine "Vibe". The fact that they have already one successful on going music magazine may make Spin media want to challenge there self's by taking a different genre of a music magazine. There will be lots of benefits to joining spin media such as, the fact they are the worlds fastest growing publishing company will help my magazine grow.

'RESPECT'

The name I have chosen for my magazine is RESPECT the reason I have decided to call my magazine RESPECT is because in the grime industry grime artist look for respect from their fans, the people they call their brothers who they hang out with and from other grime artist. The word respect is memorable, I believe that this is important as the audience will remember the name.

However, naming the magazine was not easy I was stuck between the names as I have chosen. I felt that all the names that I have chosen will work. To help me decide I asked a few people aged within the target group what they think the name should be and the overall conclusion saw majority of them say RESPECT is the name to choose.

I believe that RESPECT can be an on going weekly magazine as it has a name which will fit right into the genre.

I have searched up magazines to get an idea of how other magazines have been produced their magazine in the genre that I wish to make my magazine I wanted my magazine to have a name which will be bold and will have a meaning towards the target audience. Bellow are possible names for the magazine.

COULOUR SCHEME

My magazine will consist of 4 main colours, black, white red and yellow. Consistency is important in a magazine in order to make it look like it's from the same magazine. Also consistency will make the magazine more appealing to the audience. Having a minimum of 4 colours will allow me to make the magazine consistent. I think the colours black, white and yellow will implement each other on the page and make it appealing to the audience. I plan on using the colour scheme throughout the cover, contents page and double page spread.
